As Communications Specialist at Pruehs & Associates, LLC, Julie Fuller serves clients with public relations counsel and marketing expertise.
Julie brings more than 20 years of PR and communications experience to Pruehs & Associates. Her professionalism and spirit contribute greatly to clients’ needs by bringing stellar values, new ideas and teamwork to Pruehs’ creative department.
Prior to joining the firm, Julie served in several communications positions working with clients in a variety of industries while providing products and services such as brochure development, newsletter creation and meeting production.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
As Project Consultant at Pruehs & Associates, LLC, Jennie Halcott is responsible for the production of services, social media leadership, grant writing and project and event management.
Jennie has been serving clients at Pruehs & Associates for more than four years. Her creative, multi-cultural skills have been put to use within the firm and with clients as she’s assisted with websites, blogs, LinkedIn pages, business Facebook pages, video productions, grant proposals and more. Her creative, on-trend marketing ideas have brought clients to a new level of communication.
Prior to joining Pruehs & Associates, Jennie taught Spanish and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the elementary and middle school levels. She organized school-wide events and was also in charge of setting up, training and administering the Rosetta Stone computer program.
Jennie holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and an education minor from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. She has also completed graduate work through Winthrop University, College of Charleston and Universidad de Costa Rica.
As a Senior Consultant at Pruehs & Associates, LLC, Lucinda Armas brings more than 30 years of leadership and frontline integrated marketing and communications experience from within corporate, non-profit and government sectors. She is a successful strategist, innovative collaborator and content creator, helping clients harmonize and reinforce their messaging and tools. Her portfolio includes digital, broadcast and print tools for fundraising campaigns, art exhibitions, special events and more.
A bilingual (Spanish-speaking) consultant, she helps clients build relationships in today’s dynamic and diverse environment.
Lucinda holds an associate’s in Liberal Arts from Lincoln Land Community College, a bachelor’s in Communications/Broadcasting from Moody Bible Institute and a master’s in Communications from Wheaton College.
As Senior Consultant of Pruehs & Associates, LLC, Christina Maggio serves clients with strategic public relations counsel, marketing direction and philanthropic leadership.
Christina brings more than 20 years of PR and communications experience to Pruehs & Associates. Her written materials – campaign prospectuses, brochures, press releases, media alerts and more – reach clients’ desired audiences and marketplaces. Her writing skills bring a sense of value and understanding to our clients’ corporate visions and missions, and her creative teamwork approach to project management greatly assists clients with their overall communications needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina served as the vice president of communications and philanthropy for a Chicago-based nonprofit organization where her many communications duties included annual report productions, brochure and speech writing, video productions, media relations, special event planning and implementation, crisis management, general PR counsel and staff management.
Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
As Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Pruehs & Associates, LLC, Kathy Pruehs is responsible for the financial and fiscal aspects of the firm, including accounts payable/receivable, human resource needs, general office management and internal quality control.
Kathy brings more than 30 years of experience to Pruehs & Associates. Her multitude of skills and creative ideas add the finishing touch to clients’ projects. This includes extensive editing and project management to ensure detailed, precise, articulate and compelling final materials for client success.
Prior to founding Pruehs & Associates, Kathy taught elementary education for seven years in Ohio and Illinois.
Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
As Founder and President of Pruehs & Associates, LLC, John Pruehs is responsible for the strategic vision and management of the firm. He enables nonprofit clients to achieve greater philanthropic outcomes through collaborations, partnerships and major gifts.
John brings more than 40 years of fund raising and marketing experience to the firm. He has led a wide range of significant philanthropic and creative efforts, involving clients across multiple geographic markets and industry types. John serves as the catalyst who connects clients with specific firm resources that will deliver the highest quality solutions.
Prior to founding Pruehs & Associates, John served as Vice President of a Chicago-based marketing and fund development consulting firm, Vice President of Development for George Williams College and Staff Director for the American Cancer Society. He began his career as a YMCA Program Director.
John is a graduate of George Williams College with advanced work in administration and organizational behavior.
